National Heritage Academies (NHA) has 61 schools in 6 states. Each year NHA conducts an independent survey of Parent Satisfaction and Employee Loyalty. Taylor Exemplar Academy has received an award for being the number one NHA school on the Parent Satisfaction survey and for being the number two school in Employee Loyalty. This was attained by our commitment to service and effective communication.
Taylor Exemplar Academy parents are always helping one another, teachers, children and staff. Our Parent Room is open during school hours and we want the parents to feel welcomed while volunteering at the school.
Parent involvement begins with morning assembly, and continues with copying, filing, lunchroom volunteering and other tasks that help the staff keep the school activities flowing smoothly throughout the day. Our special events during the school year such as Multi-Cultural Day, Math Night and Field Day are excellent opportunities for parents to be involved and get in on the fun with their child. Our after-school activities such as Drama Club, Boy Scouts and the Scholastic Book Fair have been successful because of our parent involvement.
