National Heritage Academies (NHA) has 55 schools in 6 states. Each year NHA conducts an independent survey of Parent Satisfaction and Employee Loyalty. At the completion of the 2006-2007 school year, Taylor Exemplar was the number one NHA school on the Parent Satisfaction survey and number two in Employee Loyalty. This was attained by our commitment to service and effective communication.
Taylor Exemplar Academy parents are always helping one another, teachers, children and staff. Our parent room is always open and usually filled with devoted parents meeting and discussing the school’s needs.
Parent involvement begins with morning assembly, and continues with copying, filing, lunchroom volunteering and other tasks that help the staff keep the school activities flowing smoothly throughout the day. Our after-school activities (Drama Club, Boy Scouts and Scholastic Book Fair, to name a few) were successful because of our parent involvement.
Our PTO consists of Boosters, Hospitality, Library, Grounds, and Technology Committees. All parents are welcome to join.
